To visit my shop, call ahead. My regular shop hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. I also make specific appointments for those clients who cannot visit during my regular hours.

Even during regular hours, I may be away from the shop doing some range testing of projects. Or, I may have a complicated task that requires a lot of focus, or critical time dependent sequences that won’t allow me to interact on other business. Just email or call ahead. We can work it out.

The best contact media to reach me is email. I check it twice a day, at a minimum. E-mail lets me control my time for responses and helps me keep a record of client requests and vendor offerings. I will respond, typically within 12 to 24 hours on all email communications. If I’m working on a gun for you, selling one, buying one or performing some other current task for you, as a client, you are top on my list to communicate with. Just send me an email. If you are a vendor looking to sell me something, it’s best to e- mail me your offering. I can’t always respond to phone communications from vendors.
Remember I am in the Pacific time zone.

Phone is good, and best if you are trying to notify me of a shop visit on short notice. However, I’m out at the edge of AT&T and my phone doesn’t always ring to let me know you are calling. You can leave a voice mail. But, my marginal connectivity via AT&T also causes some occasional problems with voice mail, such as, I don’t always get a voice mail. Sometimes, when I do get notice that I have a voice mail, I can’t download the audio file. I can only see that you have left me something to hear. But, I don’t get to hear it. If I do see that you have tried to call and/or leave me a voice mail, I will follow up by
phone, when I have the opportunity to do so. A good tactic to try to work with/around any phone problems is to try to leave your email address as part of a voice mail message. That will give me two options for getting back to you.

Fax is usually good, although becoming a little outdated. I can receive faxes, assuming my multi function device is working. It’s good form to let me know via email or phone that you are trying to send me a fax, so I can follow up to be sure it comes through.
